Formed and led by Joe Goglia and Samuel Peña, the group performs bomba rhythms, songs, and dances and builds community. AZ Rhythm Connection Tue. & Wed., December 3 & 4, 2024 Explore musical traditions from West Africa! Students will be introduced to drumming styles and traditions from cultural groups in Ghana, Mali, and Guinea. Rhythm, movements, and call-and-response are incorporated into the performance.
