Joshua Redman, a renowned saxophonist, composer, and bandleader, epitomizes the finest in jazz. Throughout his three-decade career, Redman has consistently expanded the boundaries of jazz while remaining true to its core. His latest album, Where Are We, explores themes of isolation, wanderlust, and American identity through iconic jazz standards and contemporary influences (songs include “Chicago Blues,” “Streets of Philadelphia,” “Do You Know What It Means to Miss New Orleans?” and John Coltrane’s “Alabama”) that celebrate the complexities of American life. Redman’s ensemble includes drummer Brian Blade, pianist Aaron Parks, and bassist Joe Sanders.

Gabrielle Cavassa is a vocalist and composer garnering attention for her distinctive voice and intimate expression. She was crowned winner of the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition in 2021 after the independent release of her critically acclaimed debut album.
