Performance: Greek Folk Dancers 11:30–11:45 a.m. North El Río Dance along and discover the meaning behind Greek folk dances with the Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral’s dance group.
Workshop: History and Myths of the Classical Greek Lyre 12:15–1:00 p.m. Event Room 2 Enjoy a hands-on experience with a reconstruction of an ancient Greek lyre. Join Luthieros—musicians, luthiers, and Greek scholars—as they bring to life the intriguing history and mythology of the classical Greek lyre.
Performance: Lyre of Apollo 1:45–2:30 p.m. North El Río Immerse yourself in the ancient melodies that shaped classical Greece. Join Theodore Koumartzis and Marios Podaras as they perform some of Greece’s oldest compositions on the lyre, pandura, and violin.
Performance: Luthieros 3:15–4:00 p.m. North El Río Join Luthieros for another enchanting performance about the hidden musical secrets of the classical Greek era, featuring ancient and contemporary compositions.
