—No Depression
Celebrate Mardi Gras with legends of Louisiana brass band and zydeco music.
The Dirty Dozen Brass Band are the pioneers of the modern New Orleans brass band movement, recognized worldwide as an unstoppable musical machine. More than 45 years into their career, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band is synonymous with genre-bending romps and high-octane performances of their unique musical gumbo of bebop, funk, R&B, and soul.
Nathan Williams provides a direct connection to storied zydeco pioneers such as Clifton Chenier and Boozoo Chavis. Williams and his band the Zydeco Cha Chas are keepers of the zydeco flame, keeping alive their Creole heritage and its fast and furious, accordion-driven dance music.
